Artist Bio: Kahmiwsik Kihew Squow (Pretty Eagle Woman) Paula TopSky Houtz is a Shoshone-Bannock tribal member residing on the Fort Hall Reservation in Southeast Idaho. As an intuitive artist, her work is deeply inspired by Mother Earth, oral history, ceremony and the spiritual energy that surrounds them. Drawing from sacred rhythm of song, prayer and ancestral memory, her pieces often reflect a personal connection to healing, land and identity. Much of her creative process is rooted in presence and reverence for our culture and connection. She views art not as an expression but as medicine; a way to honor continue to guide her. Through visual storytelling, she seeks to carry forward traditional values while creating space for moder Indigenous experience
